Since July, 2000 bakery "Gardūnė" is baking and supplying a tasty fresh "just-out-of-oven" bread and various kinds of pastry to Your homes in Northern region of Lithuania. Now our products are reaching the furthermost corners of Lithuania in the following counties: Klaipėdos, Kauno, Panevėžio, Telšių, Utenos. The bakery is situated in Kairiai, only 5 km from Šiauliai, right next to the road A9 Šiauliai - Panevėžys.

Our bakery is aiming to stay a competitive company in bakery products range in Šiauliai region, we are cherishing old traditions, but accepting and initiating the new ones too. We are maintaining a good reputation in the county, and we are very happy to have the loyal customers.

The bread and pastry products are produced according to the old traditional Lithuanian recipes, only from natural materials with no preservatives. There are 40 people working in the bakery, one part of them is preparing the dough, shaping and baking the bread and pastry products with their own hands and adding the main ingredient - love, others are doing their best to make sure the bread reaches each customer in town or in the countryside.

There are over 100 product names in bakery „Gardūnė" assortment, which is being reviewed annually and renewed according to the market changes and customer's wishes or needs. For breakfast we could offer You hot poppy-seed rolls, cinnamon taste rolls or rolls filled with delicious jam. For lunch or dinner the best accompaniment is fresh dark or white bread. For evening reading with a cup of hot tea - "Almond cream pie" (lit. migdolinis pyragas) or "Poppy-seed cake" (lit. aguoninis plokštainis) is a must. For relaxed weekend with Your friends we recommend You "fried garlic bread sticks" (lit. skrudinta duona) and special biscuits "Be healthy or To your health" (lit. "Būk sveikas") accompanied by Lithuanian beer. For Your family celebrations and anniversaries we could bake our specialty - named "baumkuchen" in Germany or „smetoniškas" šakotis in Lihuanian. On wedding occasion we have an exceptional product "A wedding bread", it keeps a secret, that could be revealed only by the "just married" couple...
